Schedule: 35 hours/week – Rotational Shifts

Our client  is committed to delivering the highest standards of quality healthcare through service excellence, education, and leadership. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Clinical Manager from a Geriatric/LTC/Dementia background to join our dedicated team and help lead patient care administration in a supportive yet dynamic hospital environment.

🔹 About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager will oversee and coordinate patient care operations within an assigned service area. This leadership position ensures strategic alignment with BHB’s goals and compliance with regulatory standards, while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement departmental action plans in alignment with BHB’s strategic objectives.

  • Support service development and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Clinical Director.

  • Oversee daily operations and clinical performance metrics; identify and address variances proactively.

  • Manage departmental budgets, staffing allocations, and labor costs efficiently.

  • Ensure excellence in service delivery, customer satisfaction, and performance improvement.

  • Provide leadership in dementia and stroke care, ensuring safety, personalized treatment, and best practices.

  • Conduct performance reviews and manage staff development in accordance with HR policies.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution recognized by the Bermuda Nursing Council.

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (or currently pursuing), preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.

  • Proven expertise in caring for patients with dementia and stroke.

  • NICHE certification is an asset or willingness to complete this hospital-sponsored course.

  • Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council (or eligibility to register).

  • Strong understanding of budgets and financial statements preferred.

  • Current CPR certification.
