About the Opportunity
A premier healthcare provider in Colorado is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join their dynamic Cardiology team. This full-time role offers the chance to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care across both inpatient and outpatient settings in one of the most scenic communities in the state.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and examinations

  • Deliver care aligned with established treatment plans and clinical best practices

  • Identify and escalate complications as needed

  • Manage outpatient visits and inpatient rounding/consults

  • Supervise various forms of stress testing, including exercise, echo, nuclear, and dobutamine

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve care coordination and outcomes

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives


Qualifications
Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as an NP or PA

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or graduate of an accredited PA program

  • Active and unrestricted Colorado APN or PA license (DORA)

  • DEA license

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)

Preferred:

  • Strong cardiovascular assessment and diagnostic skills

  • Independent decision-making in high-volume environments

  • Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities

  • Passion for delivering patient-centered, holistic care
