Package: $144,651.63 / £113,800 (approx)
- Almost tax free Salary
- $5000 relocation payment

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director for Intellectual Disabilities to lead and strategically oversee services within the Intellectual Disabilities Directorate. This includes Group Homes, the Community Intellectual Disabilities Team, and the New Dimensions Day Programme.
The Clinical Director will be responsible for the operational, clinical, and strategic management of the directorate, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and resource optimization. This role plays a critical part in driving organizational goals while maintaining patient safety and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic development and business planning for the Intellectual Disabilities Directorate in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic plan and community needs.
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise, contributing to the development and implementation of service enhancements and new initiatives.
- Define operational priorities and create actionable plans that ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, and clinical practices are evidence-based, align with international best practices, and meet accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze clinical, human resources, and operational metrics, identifying and resolving performance variances in a timely manner.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with other directorates to support integrated system-wide solutions and ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure appropriate and efficient utilization of allocated resources, optimizing quality and cost-effectiveness across services.
- Foster a culture of staff development, mentorship, and professional growth through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Qualifications & Required Registrations:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a healthcare or related field.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive management experience within Intellectual Disabilities or a related clinical service.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong record of clinical and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to build effective interdisciplinary teams and lead change in complex healthcare environments.
- Registration in good standing with the Bermuda Nurses Council, Allied Health Council, or other applicable professional regulatory body.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
