Are you a skilled and experienced Clinical Director specializing in Children’s and/or Maternal Services, ready for an overseas adventure in one of the world’s most stunning island destinations?

Our client in Bermuda, a world-renowned healthcare provider, is seeking a dynamic and visionary nurse leader to oversee their Maternal Child Directorate. This strategic role combines operational leadership with clinical excellence to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.


🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible and expert clinical leadership across the Maternal Child Directorate.

  • Lead the strategic direction, business planning, and continuous service development.

  • Translate strategic goals into measurable objectives with robust implementation plans.

  • Oversee fiscal, human resource, and operational planning aligned with short- and long-term goals.

  • Develop and deliver business cases for projects and service enhancements.

  • Analyze quality and compliance metrics, reporting to executive leadership and the Board.

  • Address performance issues through effective action planning and improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure all clinical governance, risk, and patient safety frameworks are adhered to.

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and skill mix, leading workforce planning and development.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture, fostering communication, engagement, and staff well-being.


🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Leadership from a Bermuda Nursing Council-approved institution.

  • 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in Maternal and/or Pediatric Services.

  • Strong track record of clinical operations, quality assurance, and strategic planning.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

  • Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council (NMC / RSCN qualifications considered transferable).
