Position Summary

We are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our BSN program as Clinical Instructors specializing in OB/GYN. In this role, you will mentor and supervise nursing students in clinical settings, helping bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Supervision: Guide students through clinical rotations in OB/GYN and women’s health settings. Instruct on procedures, safety, patient care, documentation, and assessments.

  • Student Mentorship: Orient students to clinical environments, facilitate group learning, and evaluate clinical performance using structured assessment tools.

  • Curriculum Integration: Ensure alignment of clinical experiences with BSN program goals. Participate in teaching specialized content and assessing learning outcomes.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with clinical sites, preceptors, and academic faculty to coordinate schedules, ensure quality placements, and maintain program standards.

  • Compliance & Professionalism: Maintain RN licensure, complete required health screenings, and serve as a professional role model in all interactions.


Qualifications

  • Education: BSN required

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of direct patient care, with 2–3 years in OB/GYN, women’s health, or medical-surgical nursing.

  • Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (multi-state compact acceptable)

  • Certifications: CPR required; ACLS preferred. CNE or CNEcl certification is a plus

  • Other: Teaching or precepting experience preferred; familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation
