Schedule: Full-Time (35 hours/week including all shifts)
Salary Grade: CM3 | $117,483.53 per annum – approximately £87,179.83

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Manager to lead our E.F. Gordon Ward in the Long-Term Care Services department. This is a full-time leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and operational efficiency in a specialized setting focused on patients with dementia, stroke, and complex long-term needs.
Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager plays a vital role in strategic alignment, staff management, clinical oversight, and financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of departmental action plans aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.

Provide clinical expertise and leadership in the execution of service development initiatives.

Oversee and manage unit budget performance and labor costs.

Develop and execute a unit-specific Performance Improvement Plan aligned with hospital-wide initiatives.

Monitor clinical and operational performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and take corrective actions as needed.

Review and manage staff schedules, time, and attendance to ensure optimal staffing based on patient acuity.

Conduct staff performance appraisals and support professional development in accordance with HR policies.

Foster a culture of service excellence and ensure high standards of patient and family-centered care.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution recognized by the Bermuda Nursing Council.

Master’s in Nursing (MSN) or actively pursuing, preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.

Proven ability to provide specialized care for individuals with dementia and stroke, including development and oversight of individualized treatment plans and safety protocols.

NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) certification is an asset or willingness to complete the course through hospital sponsorship.

Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council.

Strong understanding of financial reporting and budget management preferred.

Current CPR certification required.
