Overview:
Our client, a highly respected healthcare system in North Carolina, is seeking a Director of Women’s Services (RN) to lead and oversee Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery/NICU units. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leadership role is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care while ensuring clinical excellence and regulatory compliance across all units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 oversight and leadership across Women’s Services units.

• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with hospital goals and patient care standards.

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and performance management of nursing staff.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and incorporate evidence-based practices into care protocols.

• Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies.

• Foster a positive patient experience through service excellence and professional staff development.

• Champion quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (NC).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN required); Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.

• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
