Overview:
Our client, a highly respected healthcare system in North Carolina, is seeking a Director of Women’s Services (RN) to lead and oversee Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery/NICU units. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leadership role is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care while ensuring clinical excellence and regulatory compliance across all units.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 oversight and leadership across Women’s Services units.

Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with hospital goals and patient care standards.

Lead recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and performance management of nursing staff.

Ensure regulatory compliance and incorporate evidence-based practices into care protocols.

Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies.

Foster a positive patient experience through service excellence and professional staff development.

Champion quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (NC).

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN required); Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.

Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
