Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and confident Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a high-performing team in a busy emergency department located in the Ft. Myers area. This full-time role offers a flexible 12-shift monthly schedule and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients in the Emergency Department

• Perform necessary procedures and order/interprets diagnostic tests

• Ensure thorough and accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system

• Collaborate effectively within a dynamic, team-based environment

• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting

Qualifications:

• Active Florida NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience in a hospital setting

• Strong procedural skills and comfort managing high-acuity patients

• Familiarity with EPIC EMR strongly preferred

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred

Emergency Department Details:

• Annual ED volume: 26,000 patients

• Supported by a collaborative clinical team and robust infrastructure
