Location: Bermuda
Work Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week, all shifts including weekends and public holidays)

Salary:$75,000 annually / (approx £55,000 per year

Our client is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare through service excellence, education, and leadership. They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team in a supportive yet fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care ranging from simple to complex needs.

• Implement dependent functions as outlined in the surgical plan of care.

• Apply the nursing process to develop individualized care plans for assigned patients.

• Act as a patient advocate, facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Initiate and participate in patient care conferences.

• Utilize hospital, clinical, and community resources effectively.

• Ensure safe and economical use of equipment and supplies.

• Supervise, teach, and direct other nursing personnel as required.

• Take on in-charge duties when needed.

• Maintain professional development through continuing education, professional literature, and organizational participation.

Qualifications & Registration

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.

• Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Bermuda Nursing Council.

• Minimum of two years’ continuous experience in a PACU setting.

• Current certifications: CPR, ACLS, ECG monitoring, and IV therapy.

• Strong patient assessment skills and proven clinical competencies.
