Key responsibilities include:

• Manages and coordinates all imaging procedures, schedules and staff in the operation of imaging services.
• Assists in the hiring process by partnering with the Imaging Services Manager and Human Resources
• Develops, implements and maintains Departmental policies and procedures in alignment with the organizational policies and procedures
• Oversees the workflow and the coordination of imaging services to ensure that physician requisitions / patient referrals are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner
• Reviews statistical data and provides accurate feedback for monthly reports and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
• Meets financial standards by preparing and providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures and identifies monthly variances to the Imaging Services Manager
• Ensures equipment and supplies are in compliance with the patient safety standards and infection control
• Orders and monitors all supplies via the online ordering system, approves invoices as required and communicates needs to procurement / financial services
• Work across all sites as required, ensuring optimal coverage of Imaging Services over a twenty-four (24) hour period, including weekends, on call, and standby to address urgent staffing / equipment issues

Qualifications, Experience & Registration required:

• Experience in financial and performance management
• Maintains credentials as required by the standards of the Allied Health Council (Bermuda)
• Current Registration in one or more or equivalent: ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB, CAMRT, DCRR.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BCLS) – required
• Maintains IV Certification where required

Level 1 Senior Imaging Technologist:

• Resource Technologist / Resource Sonographer experience
• Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory and clinical imaging experience preferred

Level 2 Senior Imaging Technologist:

• Minimum of six (6) or more years of supervisory and hands-on / technical hospital experience preferred and experience in a leadership role

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Salary Scale: Level 1 c$140k per annum. Level 2 c$150k per annum
