We are seeking a skilled System Operator to join our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) team. The successful candidate will help ensure the safe and continuous supply of electricity by monitoring and controlling power generation and grid systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate Power Generation and Grid Operation systems
• Coordinate system activities during alarms, outages, and emergencies
• Perform switching procedures for planned outages
• Test, evaluate, and commission modified or new control systems
• Respond to customer enquiries and operational issues
• Communicate effectively with operational personnel
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training to team members

Education, Experience & Skills

• College degree/certificate in a related field or equivalent experience
• First Aid and Technical Distribution Systems Operations certification
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively during routine and emergency assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise across all levels

Salary range – $103,979
Also a relocation package for the successful candidate, would receive a $3,000 budget (excluding airfare) and three months of paid housing.
